Welcome to our winter Private Client eBulletin, Christmas is looming and at the moment our world is an icy and snowy place. It seems there is a cold and long winter ahead but we have included an article about buying properties in sunnier climes but highlighted some of the potential hazards to help you avoid some pitfalls.

Pre-nuptial agreements hit the legal and mainstream news and then trumped by a royal wedding announcement. We have provided a quick overview on the new perspective and weighting given to pre-nups by the courts which hopefully will mean greater clarity in the future.

Then two linked articles with the announcement of the formation of DMH Stallard Trust Corporation which will help streamline our trust administration services and a reminder to everyone to consider making an LPA particularly when considering making a Will.

We hope we cover topics of interest to you and we always welcome feedback.

Finally our best wishes for the festive season and into 2011.

Yours sincerely
