DMH Stallard recognises that all its staff are valuable and encourages an inclusive culture by seeking ideas and feedback from all its personnel.
So that everyone is clear on the direction of the firm, everyone receives a copy of the firm's strategy document outlining the goals for the future. The Managing Partner, Tim Aspinall, also annually holds meetings to enable members of staff to ask him any questions about the firm, its management and objectives for the future.
Career progression and personal development extend across the firm. Everyone is involved in the personal development programme and meets with their manager at least once a year to review their own plan. The plan considers skills and projects on which an individual wishes to focus in the coming year and how these ambitions are to be supported.
We have had the Investors In People (IIP) accreditation since December 2000. Nigel Collins, who carried out the assessment, was particularly impressed by our commitment to teamwork. He commented: "The firm displayed strong teamwork, which helps to integrate the workforce practically and culturally". "It also operates effective communication, which is allied to a transparent management style".
