
Law firm DMH Stallard, based in London and the south east, has won the prestigious award for Best Use of Technology at last night’s MPF European Practice Management Awards for its innovative on-line management product DMH Direct. The firm and the product were praised for helping their clients to streamline processes and deliver efficiency when dealing with legal assignments. [22 October]
DMH Direct was rated as “outstanding” by the panel of 30 Judges from across Europe. Past winners of the award include PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Linklaters, Lovells, Berwin Leighton Paisner and Eversheds.
The MPF judges commented, “DMH Direct provide clients with 24-hour access to a secure, client-friendly portal to its case management system. The judges were impressed by the design and execution of DMH Direct. It enhances customer service by improving communications and streamlining the processes across the client interface. It allows clients to instruct the firm online, track progress, and access further functionality and reporting capabilities. Client adoption of the system has been rapid. Client and internal management talk about how it is improving their working practices and how it is frequently a deciding factor for clients when the firm is pitching for business.”

The 2009 MPF European Practice Management Awards ceremony and black tie gala dinner took place on 21 October at The Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London. Over 50 managing partners from a wide range of companies attended.
