Some recent examples of our work include:

  • Provision of in-house tailored training to housing managers in relation to housing enforcement issues and court procedures
  • Providing advice to a London Authority Tenant Management Organisation in relation to planning enforcement notices served by the council in relation to removal of satellite dishes
  • Volume debt recovery work chasing former tenant arrears for Raven Housing Trust and Kensington & Chelsea TMO. We have specialist software that enables us to process this work efficiently and cost effectively
  • Advise on complicated anti-social behaviour issues including advice on ASBOs and injunctions which included advice to the client regarding Public Relations
  • We acted for the Reigate & Banstead Housing Trust (now Raven Housing Trust), in relation to a number of Affordable Housing Development Scheme. We dealt with the site acquisitions, development agreements, funding agreements, nomination agreements and a number of very innovative shared ownership, key worker, homebuy and other schemes. Our planning solicitors drafted and negotiated complex Section 106 Agreements.
  • Our planning solicitors drafted and negotiated complex Section 106 Agreements for the London Borough of Hackney relating to the disposal and redevelopment of one of their largest Council estates to a major RSL.
  • Acting on a number of joint venture development projects for a RSL, from the site assembly and land acquisition to dealing with the section 106 and development agreement, through to the nomination and service level agreements for key workers, shared ownership, homebuy and other schemes.
  • Advising a major housing association in relation to re-securitisation including conducting title checks on several hundred properties within the housing stock, and liaising with the solicitors acting on behalf of the lender.
