DMH Stallard Debt Recovery recognises that clients require certainty with regard to our fees, particularly when pursuing debtors. We have therefore developed and are able to offer clients a range of fixed costs for pursuing their debtors.   The 2008 edition of Chambers and Partners praises the Firm's "excellent debt recovery assistance."

All pre-action work, the commencement of legal proceedings, requesting a default judgment (where appropriate) and the enforcement of judgments can be carried out for a fixed fee (see details of these fees). As a result, where we are able to make a full and successful recovery, it will not cost you anything as all fees and expenses involved will be recovered from your debtor.

In addition, we also offer fixed costs for all defended debt recovery claims of up to £15,000 as well as certain insolvency proceedings. As an alternative, we can also offer: 

• Contingency fees (based on a percentage of the debt(s) recovered) for all pre-action work 
• Discounts or rebates on our normal fees for volume instructions 
• For debts which include a claim under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, we are willing to consider accepting as our fee the compensation and/or the interest payable, and recovered by us on your behalf, under the Act
