You will work alongside the Senior Credit Controller in the Gatwick office,  with the wider Accounts department consisting of over 22 staff.

We are looking for a Credit Controller to promptly and professionally collect payment from clients for outstanding bills, to maximise the firm’s cash collections, and minimise bad debts, whilst having due regard for client retention.

 

WHO AND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The key criteria for the ideal candidate will include:  

  • Previous experience of debt collection, preferably within a higher volume professional services environment, including:
  • Previous experience of identifying and resolving client queries
  • Previous experience of receipt allocation and sales ledger reconciliation
  • Firm and confident but adaptable and professional approach to dealing with clients and colleagues
  • Self-motivated and able to undertake role with limited supervision
  • Excellent administration, time management, organisation and problem solving skills
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy
  • Excellent verbal telephone manner and written email style
  • Good IT skills, including good ability in using Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Preferably knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules of the Solicitors Regulation Authority
  • Willingness to study for professional qualification
  • Willingness and ability to travel to other offices when required
