DMH Stallard is a Top 100 law firm with around 300 people, which provides integrated legal services from offices in London, Gatwick, Guildford, Horsham and Brighton. We were awarded Corporate Law Firm of the Year by South East Dealmakers in 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017.


We have an exciting new vacancy for an Events Executive to work as part of the Marketing & Business Development team at our Gatwick office (based on Crawley High Street). The key focus for the Events Executive will be to organise our external and internal events, corporate hospitality and networking. Additionally this role is to act as support to other members of the MBD team in the delivery of MBD projects and campaigns.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion in events and marketing to engage with numerous stakeholders within a supportive and forward thinking law firm.


To be considered candidates should have the following:


  • Previous experience in a professional service organisation is ideal but not necessary. Individuals should have experience of delivering effective events, internal communications and the ability to develop strong internal networks with senior management.
  • The candidate will be able to demonstrate they have strong project management skills and the ability to deliver high quality events from inception through to completion.
  • The ability to quickly understand and adopt the firm’s wider long-term business and MBD strategies including the firm’s culture, its ambition and its objectives.
  • Ability to use own initiative, prioritise workload and work as part of a team.
  • An understanding and experience of the full MBD life-cycle from building awareness with new targets to creating advocacy with established clients and the role events play in this process.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the role of CRM systems and experience of working with one.
  • Experience in using eMarketing and events organising systems, such as Eventbrite, PowerPoint, Kentico and other presentation systems.
  • Flexibility in working hours and location
