You will work alongside the 22 staff in the Business Services team, who are based across our 6 offices.

 

THE FIRM AND ROLE

DMH Stallard is a legal 100 firm with a headcount of 310, which provides integrated legal services from offices in London, Gatwick, Guildford, Horsham and Brighton. We were awarded Corporate Law Firm of the Year by South East Dealmakers in 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017.

 

We are looking for a Float Reception & Office Services Assistant to work as part of the Business Services team across the firm’s Brighton, Horsham, Gatwick, Guildford and London offices. This role is for a 6 month fixed term contract.

 

The role will involve a mix of reception, telephony and office services responsibilities. The reception responsibilities are inclusive of, but not limited to, meeting and greeting clients, as well as managing meeting room bookings and refreshments. The office services activities include tasks such as telephony, sorting/distributing post, ordering office supplies, and archiving/retrieving records.

  

WHO AND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The key criteria for the ideal candidate will include: 

  • Previous reception experience preferred
  • Experience in an office services and facilities role preferred
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Effective communication skills both over the phone and in person
  • Flexible in approach to work, and hours worked required
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Able to solve problems, considering the needs of the business
  • Effective team working skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with IT - setting up laptops, overhead projectors etc. (or willingness to be trained)
  • Ability to travel to all offices easily, preferably a car owner
