Private Client




9.15am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday (1 hour for lunch)


Dependent on experience

You will work alongside the 10 Partners and Staff in the Private Client Horsham team,  with the wider Private Client group of 30 being based in our other offices.

We are looking for a 2 year + PQE Solicitor/Associate or Legal Executive to join our Private Client team in our Horsham office.


The primary focus of this role will be to operate as an effective member of the Private Client Group in Horsham within the Tax, Trust and Probate team and within the wider Private Client Department. You will be responsible under supervision for your own caseload of work and own fee targets.


The role will involve Will drafting, estate administration, Lasting Power of Attorney, elements of trust work and, to a limited extent, Court of Protection work.



The key criteria for the ideal candidate will include: 

  • Previous experience of Private Client work essential to include Will drafting, estate administration, Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney, elements of trust work and Court of Protection work.
  • Able to effectively manage their time to achieve client and internal deadlines.
  • Understanding the importance of client care with an ability to deal with a wide range of clients with differing objectives.
  • Able to work within a team and provide support to Senior Associates and Partners as appropriate.
  • Competent IT skills including Outlook, Word, Digital Dictation and Axxia (or another case management system).
  • Ability to draft documentation, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the strategy and vision of the firm.
