Circa £20,000 - £25,000, dependent on experience

You will work alongside the 11 Partners, Planners and Staff in the Planning team, with the wider Real Estate department consisting of over 105 Staff and Partners being based in our other offices.

We are looking for a well organised person to provide secretarial and administrative support to fee-earners in the Planning Group.  The individual will undertake a broad range of responsibilities with the focus of the role being on secretarial support, along with administrative and technical work including some fee-earning.

 

WHO AND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The key criteria for the ideal candidate will include: 

  • Previous secretarial experience essential.
  • Knowledge or experience of legal and/or planning work would be an advantage.
  • Excellent audio and copy typing skills.
  • Excellent IT skills with experience in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and the Internet.
  • Ability to use track changes, and/or other comparison software such as CompareDocs as appropriate.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Experience of a ‘Case Manager’ system desirable.
  • Effective administrative communication, decision making and group working skills.
  • Reasonable level of numeracy.
  • Good standard of written English and grammar, equivalent to GCSE B or above.
  • Attention to detail.
