Part time – 2/3 full days or 5 shorter days

You will work alongside the 12 Partners and Staff in the Real Estate Dispute Resolution Gatwick team, with the wider Real Estate department consisting of over 103 staff and Partners being based in our other offices.

We are looking for a Secretary to join our Real Estate Dispute Resolution team in our Gatwick – Gainsborough House office.   The team deal with a range of Real Estate Dispute matters including residential possession claims, advising landlords on issues from secure and assured tenancies and Collective Enfranchisement.


The role is to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the fee earners within the group in Gatwick as and when required. Specifically you will be responsible for preparation of correspondence and documents, audio dictation, diary management, deal with telephone enquiries and sort through the post. In addition you will carry out billing, filing and complete standard forms.



The key criteria for the ideal candidate will include: 


  • Previous secretarial experience
  • Knowledge or experience of working within a legal environment or Real Estate Dispute Resolution would be an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent IT skills with experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent secretarial skills including fast and accurate audio and copy typing
  • Experience in a case manager system desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Effective administrative, communication and team working skills
  • Reasonable level of numeracy
