DMH Stallard provided legal advice and assistance to E-zec Medical Transport Services (E-zec), England’s largest independent provider of Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) on the sale of the group to Cairngorm Capital Partners LLP (Cairngorm Capital).
With revenues of £50m, E-zec is one of the country’s leading independent private ambulance companies; a fleet of more than 550 vehicles provides patient transport to and from healthcare settings, with specialist high dependency crews and a specialist UK-wide bariatric ambulance service.
A family-run business established in 1998, the investment by Cairngorm Capital will see Paul Swann, founding director, retire from the business.
The DMH Stallard team was led by Jonathan Grant supported by Callum Kirk, Liz Gillingham, Greg Burgess and Tom Trowbridge.
Paul Swann, majority owner of E-zec said, “I am extremely proud of all that we have achieved at E-zec. Cairngorm Capital is the right partner for the management team and will continue to focus on delivering excellent service to all of our key stakeholders.”
E-zec has its headquarters in Redhill, Surrey. It employs 1,500 staff in 31 depots across England.
