01 Apr 2022

DMH Stallard is delighted to have acted for the buyer, Cow Corner Investing, on its purchase of the Antrams Group.

Cow Corner is a Brighton based investment firm focused on growing businesses that sell services or software and is particularly keen on investing in well-established family or entrepreneurial businesses like the Antrams Group.

The Antrams Group is a group of financial planners, investment specialists, accountants and tax advisers, experts in their own right who work together as one team to provide a seamless service to clients.

Antrams pride themselves on retaining that small firm feel and personalised service amidst a world of global financial services. Antrams now looks after clients, pensions and investments in excess of £700m and have been independently ranked by the Financial Times in the top 100 financial advisers in 2019 and 2020. In 2021 they placed 22nd in the UK.

Vincent O’Brien, led the DMH Stallard team advising Cow Corner on the acquisition of the Antrams Group.

Vincent said:
“We were very pleased to be able to provide legal advice to Cow Corner on this important transaction, which will allow the Antrams Group to expand the breadth of professional skills and experience they provide  in the region, continue to grow and strengthen their overall service offering.”

Chris Woolley, Partner at Cow Corner commented that:
“The DMHS team had an outstanding grasp of the legal issues and was able to provide us with top level legal advice. It is an exciting time for Cow Corner and the Antrams Group and we look forward to continuing to support their growth and development”.

The DMH Stallard team included Kay Miles (Corporate) and Josie Appleyard (Corporate).

Gunnercooke LLP acted as solicitors for the majority sellers.
