DMH Stallard acted for Posturite Limited, the UK-based market-leading ergonomics company that specialises in employee health and wellbeing, on the sale of Workrite, its specialist health and safety e-learning subsidiary.
WorkRite has been acquired by listed global software group, Ideagen PLC, and will strengthen Ideagen’s offering in the area of health and safety compliance; the listed group provides software and services to businesses in highly regulated markets such as aviation, banking and pharmaceuticals.
Abigail Owen, corporate partner, led the DMH Stallard team advising Posturite Ltd on the share sale.
Abigail said:
“The sale represents an exciting opportunity for the Workrite suite of products to be developed and distributed to an even greater global audience. We have been fortunate to work with Posturite for many years, providing support for its legal needs as it has grown from strength to strength, and are delighted to have assisted on this transaction.”
Ian Fletcher-Price, CEO of Posturite, commented:
“We are confident that this move will provide a springboard to further growth for Workrite, and Ideagen is a great fit and home for Workrite. Once again Abigail and the DMHS team have provided sage advice and support along the way, working with us to ensure the best interests of all parties.”
The DMHS team also included Giedre Doig (corporate), John Yates (commercial) and William Walsh (employment).
EMC Corporate Finance acted as corporate finance advisers to Posturite Limited.
Peregrine Law acted as lawyers for the buyer, Ideagen Plc.
