The city expansion of DMH Stallard’s family law team is showing no signs of slowing after announcing the lateral hire of a senior associate from Vardags.
A specialist family law and divorce lawyer, Ella Welsby is highly regarded and an outstanding addition in the firm’s family law practice in London.
Ella’s breadth of experience includes high-value and multi-jurisdiction divorce and complex financial and children matters, obtaining and defending non-molestation and occupation orders, negotiating pre- and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation issues.
Philip Morton is a partner at DMH Stallard and Group Head of the London family team. He said:
“Ella’s experience, skills and determination to succeed for her clients marks her out as a perfect fit for our city practice.
“Having made a number of strategic hires over recent years, alongside the firm’s merger with Brookman Solicitors in 2021, the undoubted strength and depth of expertise within the family law team is very exciting for all our clients.”
Ella is well known for her tenacity in achieving the right result for her clients, in the most cost-effective manner. She recently secured a significant six figure settlement sum for a client who initially sought advice about a clean break. She has a growing reputation in successfully running top-up child maintenance cases, matters involving third parties and securing harassment protection. Ella has extensive experience acting on domestic abuse and coercive control matters. Her clients greatly value her sensitivity and discretion, which exemplify Ella’s handling of cases.
“I’m delighted to be joining such an outstanding family law team, especially one that is so respected in the sector.
“It’s very exciting to see how dynamically DMH Stallard has grown in the city and I look forward to playing my part in that continued journey.”
