Following the success of DMH Stallard’s virtual Christmas North Pole trek, with staff covering 8,652km in just under nine weeks, the team is now setting out on a fresh challenge in support of St Catherine’s Hospice. This time the DMH Stallard staff are heading to this summer’s Olympic Games. No luxury team jet though; the team will be travelling to Tokyo under its own steam and will be running, walking, cycling and swimming every metre of the way.
The challenge started on Friday 2 April, with a goal of reaching Tokyo in time for the start of the Olympics on Friday 23 July. The challenge has been split into three legs:
Leg 1: St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley to Rome (1,426km)
Leg 2: Rome to New Delhi (5,915km)
Leg 3: New Delhi to Tokyo (5,921km)
That means a total of
13,262km to cover in 16 weeks.
The firm has pledged to match the fundraising total, so every pound raised will count double. If you would like to make a donation to help us to reach our goal, you can do so here:
