DMH Stallard welcomes ‘global accreditation’ for Ridgeview

Ridgeview Winery in Ditchling is celebrating after receiving the internationally respected B Corporation certification.
 
Certified B Corporations or ‘B Corps’ are companies verified to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
 
Announcing the certification, Tamara Roberts, CEO of Ridgeview Estate Winery Ltd, said:
 
“A long time ago I came across this accreditation that  reflected my own personal and family values as to how businesses should operate in order to be truly sustainable. The journey to becoming a B Corporation is a challenging process and we required the whole Ridgeview team to get on board.  It was so rewarding to see everyone approach this with brilliant enthusiasm, making our B Corp^TM accreditation very much a team effort. I am truly delighted that we achieved an overall impact score of 92.9 (the pass rate is 80), but we understand that the job is not done, nor will it ever be, and we have ambitious goals for the future.” 
 
Abigail Owen at DMH Stallard led the team providing the specialist corporate law advice so that the structure of Ridgeview enabled them to meet the legal requirements for the B Corp accreditation.
