The Home Office has this week launched a campaign to help employers prepare for the introduction of the UK’s new points-based immigration system, which coincides with the end of free-movement (for EEA nationals coming to the UK and British nationals going to the EU) from 1 January 2021.
It comes out of a concern to ensure that as many employers as possible are aware of the potential need to obtain a sponsor licence, and to apply for one in a timely fashion if they do.
