DMH Stallard advises Cobb Digital Limited on its merger with Leapfrogg Limited

14 Sep 2016

DMH Stallard acted for local Brighton based business, Cobb Digital, on their merger into part of Leapfrogg’s business. The transaction involved the coming together of two well-known Brighton-based businesses within the digital arena.

Cobb Digital is an award winning Brighton based online and digital marketing agency. It provides bespoke advice to businesses seeking to enhance marketing strategies.

The new transaction between Cobb Digital and Leapfrogg will expand the expertise of Cobb Digital and assist in its vision of leading the digital marketing sector in the South East.

James Dempster, Managing Director of Cobb Digital said: “Given the short amount of time we had to close this deal, DMH Stallard exceeded our expectations in the level of client service provided and the quality of work. Abigail Owen and her team  provided clear and concise advice and  helped cut through any legal jargon for what was an unfamiliar transaction to us.”

Abigail Owen, Corporate Partner, led the DMH Stallard team. Commenting on the transaction, Abigail said: “It was a pleasure assisting Cobb Digital with their expansion into the digital market industry through this merger with Leapfrogg. The legal process was a foreign process for  the parties so we are glad to have assisted in putting in place the legal framework to reflect the intentions of the parties.”

EMC Corporate Finance Ltd acted as corporate finance advisers on the transaction, and were an instrumental part of securing the deal. Leapfrogg were advised by Coole Bevis LLP.
