DMH Stallard advises Michael Jones on merger

02 Nov 2017

The DMH Stallard Team advising Michael Jones on its recent transaction in the property lettings market was led by Corporate Partner, Danos Athanasi and has resulted in Bacon and Company’s entire lettings business and also their sales operation in Lancing being incorporated into the broader Michael Jones and Company operation. The Bacon and Co lettings business and the joint sales business in Lancing will trade as “Michael Jones & Bacon”, enhancing service offerings to its customers and increasing its footprint in West Sussex.

Mike Jones, Managing Director, remarked: “The merger has meant that we are now one of the largest independent lettings agents in the county and we are grateful for Danos’ commercial and strategic support and advice throughout the course of the negotiations and look forward to continuing to work with him on other matters in the future.”

Danos Athanasi, Corporate Partner at DMH Stallard commented:

“We are delighted to have advised Michael Jones in this collaborative move which is very exciting for the opportunities it creates for its group going forward. We expect great things ahead for Michael Jones & Bacon in 2018 and beyond”
