Leading law firm DMH Stallard recently took part in a dragon boat race at the Brighton Marina to support Rockinghorse, a local Brighton children’s charity. Rockinghorse are the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital and are a supporter of the Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton.

A mixture of 16 DMH Stallard fee earners and support staff from the firm’s London, Gatwick and Guildford offices took part in the race, competing against 13 other local businesses.

Spirits were high and three competitive heats ensued, followed by a nail-biting final. With healthy competition from organisations including the ‘Santander Spartans’, ‘The Grand Dragon Superstars’ and ‘City Cab Crusaders’, the ‘DMH Dragons’ sadly did not walk away with the title but finished a respectable eighth. The combined efforts of all 14 teams raised an impressive total of £20,000 for Rockinghorse.
