DMH Stallard hires asb law Group Head to join Employment Team

DMH Stallard has announced the appointment of employment partner, Greg Burgess, who joins from asb law.

The lateral hire underlines DMH Stallard’s ability to recruit the very best talent in the region and London to support its growth strategy and continue to deliver the very best legal services to its growing client base. The hire follows the appointment of Abigail Owen who joined from regional law firm Rawlison Butler in August 2014, and now brings the total number of Partner lateral hires to seven in the last twelve months.

Greg, who will join DMH Stallard’s Employment Group, has more than 15 years’ experience in the field, of which the last seven years has been spent heading up asb law’s employment team. He provides proactive commercial responsive advice on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues for public and private sector clients. His practice predominantly focuses on advising on the employment law and people aspects of business critical projects such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, redundancy and restructuring, change management projects, and outsourcing projects. He also has significant expertise in dealing with issues arising from misuse of confidential information and breaches of post-termination restrictions in employment contracts. He works closely with directors and HR teams in businesses across London and the South East, helping navigate them through challenging employment law issues.
