Kate brings M&A leadership to DMH Stallard's Guildford office

10 Jan 2017

DMH Stallard has wasted no time in announcing their first partner level appointment of 2017.

Kate Norgett joined DMH Stallard’s award winning Corporate M&A team on January 4th 2017.  Kate qualified in 1997 and brings M&A and private equity experience from her time with Clifford Chance and CMS Cameron McKenna. Before joining DMH Stallard Kate was a partner at Barlow Robbins in Guildford.

Jonathan Grant, partner at DMH Stallard and Head of the Corporate department, said:

Kate is a fantastic addition to our team.  She brings excellent technical skills and has a track record of building strong relationships with local businesses, their owners and local professionals. This is a key hire for us and the first step in building a larger corporate operation in Guildford to serve the Surrey Market.

Kate said:

I have enjoyed working with local Surrey businesses over the last year and am committed to the local area where I live and my children go to school. DMH Stallard have a great reputation and their ambition for the Guildford M&A team was very appealing. I’m delighted to be joining Jonathan and his team at such an exciting time.”

Kate’s appointment will be followed by other senior appointments as the Top 100 law firm continues to strengthen their presence across the South East particularly in Guildford and Brighton.

DMH Stallard employs nearly 300 staff, including over 60 partners, in offices in London, Gatwick, Guildford and Brighton and was named Corporate Law Firm of the Year at the Insider South East Dealmakers Awards 2016.
