London law firm confirmed as Top Tier in seven key areas

14 Oct 2016

The renowned legal industry benchmarking organisation, Legal 500, has once again ranked DMH Stallard as one of the best and most successful law firms in the UK.

The Legal 500 publishes an annual assessment of law firms around the world, highlighting their strengths and capabilities.

DMH Stallard has secured a Top Tier rating in seven categories with over 20 individual recommendations and two partners recognised as ‘Leading Individuals’ in the legal sector.

Richard Pollins, Managing Partner at DMH Stallard, said:

“I’m immensely proud of how, following two strategic mergers and rapid organic growth, we have consolidated our leading position in the south east, as well as making significant gains in our share of the London market.

“We’ve undoubtedly achieved a great deal, but there remains huge potential to increase our presence in key towns and cities and will continue to actively assess these opportunities as part of our overall development strategy.”

DMH Stallard achieved Legal 500 Top Tier status, the highest accreditation available, in seven practice areas including Employment, Local Government, Environment, Planning, Property Litigation, IT & Telecoms and Intellectual Property.

The annual publication includes quotes from clients about their experience of working with DMH Stallard; a small sample is included below:

In the city Family team, David Leadercramer is described as a ‘very fine solicitor’, while Head of Private Client in London, Lorna Fairbairn, is considered a ‘great communicator’.

The ‘excellent’ Intellectual Property team is headed up by the ‘tenacious, strategic and experienced’ Tim Ashdown and Robert Ganpatsingh provides ‘carefully thought-out, accurate advice’ in IP litigation.

Heidi Copland, Head of Planning, and Tina George, Head of Real Estate, were both named ‘Leading Individuals’ for their outstanding track records and standing in their respective areas.

Rustom Tata, Chairman of DMH Stallard and Head of Employment, one of the seven departments ranked as tier one in the Legal 500, has advised The Royal Household on HR matters since 2001.

Richard Pollins added:

“I must thank all my colleagues for their commitment and ceaseless hard work.  DMH Stallard is built on their expertise, experience and determination to be successful for each and every client we proudly represent.”

DMH Stallard has offices in London, Brighton, Gatwick and Guildford with 200 solicitors including 60 partners and 100 people in other key roles.  The firm was named Corporate Law Firm of the Year 2016.
