Bethan is a solicitor in the London Private Client team, specialising in personal and corporate taxation. Bethan advises on estate planning, administering trusts and estates and preparation of wills and LPAs, considering in particular implications for Stamp Duty Land Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and other taxes.

Bethan is a former Inspector of Taxes at HMRC qualified in Income and Corporation taxes, with experience in general tax matters.  She advises a broad client base on arranging their assets to mitigate tax exposure, including taking full advantage of available exemptions and reliefs.  Bethan has worked extensively on land transactions and Inheritance Tax, including applying business and agricultural reliefs and considers how to structure transactions so as to avoid potential exposure to other taxes.
