Dan is a Solicitor the London Corporate Group. He qualified into the Corporate team in 2016.
Dan’s first seat as a trainee was in the Corporate & Commercial department based in Gatwick where he assisted on several transactions, including the sale of Ivy Press Limited to Quarto Publishing plc, which has been nominated as Deal of the Year (transaction size under £10m) in the Insider’s South East Dealmakers Awards 2016, and the sale of Ivy Press’s sister company Ilex Press Limited to Octopus Publishing Group.
His second seat was in the Construction and Commercial Property department in London, where he dealt with both contentious and non-contentions construction and commercial property matters for a mixture of high net worth individuals, pension funds and corporate clients.
Dan's time in his third seat was split between the Gatwick dispute resolution group and the restructuring and insolvency group. Highlights of his work with the dispute resolution team include acting for a company in a High Court trial involving a large pension fund and Heathrow Airport Ltd, and assisting on several litigation matters for a major high street bank. In the restructuring and insolvency group Dan dealt with all aspects of the bankruptcy of companies and the insolvency of individuals and helped with drafting sale agreements for pre-pack administrations.
Dan has a degree in Business Administration which he obtained at the University of Kent in Canterbury. He completed his Graduate Diploma in Law in 2011, Legal Practice Course in 2012 and LLB (Hons) at the College of Law in Guildford.
Prior to joining DMH Stallard, Dan worked as a Paralegal in the in-house legal department for a global pharmaceutical company, where he gained exposure to a number of corporate and commercial matters.
