Emma is a Solicitor, in the Gatwick Dispute Resolution Group.
Emma’s first seat was in the Dispute Resolution TMT Group headed up by Tim Ashdown. She dealt with intellectual property disputes, search orders and civil litigation with a technology angle.
Emma’s second seat was in the Dispute Resolution Group in London with a focus on Family and Civil Litigation. In this seat, Emma supported on matrimonial proceedings, Schedule 1 Children Act 1989 applications, fraud cases and property litigation.
Emma’s third seat was in the Real Estate Group where she dealt with a range of commercial property transactions, although primarily Emma dealt with the grant of leases and licences. She also supported on property finance transactions.
Emma has a degree in law from Kingston University and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West England in 2013.
Prior to starting her training contract, Emma worked as a Paralegal in the Corporate Commercial Group for three years, where she primarily worked in the Banking & Finance team. Emma assisted on a range of matters including refinances, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and share purchases.
