Kate is a partner and leads a team of real estate lawyers in the Brighton office. Her team deals with property transactions relating to the utilities industry and other commercial conveyancing.
Kate has more than 20 years’ experience in commercial property work. For many years she and her dedicated utilities team have acted for electricity distribution network operators and gas transporters in acquiring freehold and leasehold substation and PRI sites and easements for electric lines and gas mains throughout the country. Kate and her team provide innovative solutions to their utility clients within a framework of technological efficiency, excellent technical knowledge and outstanding client care.
Kate also acts for household name companies, major lenders and property developers/investors in relation to a wide variety of issues including freehold and leasehold land acquisition, lease renewals, refinancing, due diligence title investigations in corporate transactions, option/pre-emption agreements and site disposals.
