Olga specialises in UK tax and estate planning
for individuals and trustees, helping clients and their families plan for the future, protect and preserve their wealth in a tax efficient way and support generational planning, often making use of trusts for greater protection.
Olga advises clients to plan for later life and potential mental incapacity; this includes considerations about the choice of attorneys who may be responsible for financial decisions and health and care options. If an individual lacks capacity and has no power of attorney in place, she helps their families with applications to the Court of Protection to become financial and health deputies.
She also advises trustees on all aspects of trust creation, re-structuring and winding up. Olga has extensive experience working with private family trusts comprising business and agricultural assets, trusts arising from compensation for personal injury, and charitable trusts set up by philanthropists.
She also guides families through probate and post-death planning following bereavement, and navigates them through challenging family relationships.
