£42,000 - £47,000, dependent on experience

TEAM INFO

You will work in the Nominal Accounts team in the Gatwick office. The  wider Accounts department consists of over 22 staff, who are based across Gatwick, London and Guildford.

We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to assist the Head of Management Accounting with leading the firms management accounting team.

 

WHO AND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The key criteria for the ideal candidate will include:  

 

  • Either already has, or is well advanced in obtaining, a higher professional accountancy qualification (eg ACCA or CIMA rather than AAT).
  • Proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Flexible approach required at peak periods.
  • Excellent IT systems use and implementation skills including Microsoft Office and a range of other systems.
  • HMRC payroll and VAT rules and regulations.
  • Good time management and an organised approach to work.
  • Effective team work with others, including helping to manage, coach and motivate other members of the team.
  • Ability to assist with design and implementation of new procedures and systems.
  • To work to tight deadlines with only limited supervision.
  • Good communication skills internally and externally.
  • Ability to recognise a problem and to find a solution to avoid it being repeated.
  • Ability to liaise and deal with Partners and other senior staff of the firm.
