Sara specialises in estate planning, wills, probate and the administration of estates, trusts, and powers of attorney.

Sara’s legal practice is centred on wills, estate planning, estate administration, and trust administration. She specialises in utilizing wills and trusts—both within and outside of wills—for effective estate planning. Sara brings a wealth of experience in administering estates, from the straightforward to complex high net worth estates including those with assets in multiple jurisdictions and issues of domicile. She is the Head of the private Client team in Guildford.

Sara qualified as a solicitor in 2005.

Sara works primarily in our Guildford office but also collaborates closely with colleagues in our other locations.

TRUST ADVICE

Deed of appointment out of a discretionary will trust establishing a life interest, thereby balancing the deceased’s wish to protect the funds for future generations with the beneficiary’s desire to have use of the money in her lifetime and provide for her husband if she died first.


DISCRETIONARY TRUST

Deed of variation redirecting the residuary estate into a discretionary trust to rebalance the perceived unequal treatment of the deceased’s children under the will whilst retaining control of the assets.
