Benefits

  • 25 days holiday (increasing with length of service)

    All full-time employees are entitled to 25 days paid holiday, of which 21.5 days can be booked at any time and 3.5 days is reserved for Christmas. This is pro rata for part-time employees.

     

    After you have completed 5 years’ service, you are entitled to an additional 2 days’ holiday increasing your holiday entitlement to 27 days (pro rata for part-time employees).

     

    After you have completed 10 years’ service, you are entitled to an additional 3 days holiday increasing your holiday entitlement to 30 days (pro rata for part-time employees).

  • Holiday buying scheme

    This scheme provides the opportunity to purchase up to one additional week of annual leave each holiday year through a salary sacrifice arrangement.

  • Day off for your birthday

    You can take a day off for your birthday, which is in addition to your normal holiday entitlement.  It can be taken on your birthday or up to seven days either side of your birthday.

  • Hybrid working

    Depending on the role, the firm offers hybrid working.

  • Life assurance

    From the first day of employment employees will be admitted to the firm’s life assurance scheme, which covers them to the value of three times their annual salary or fixed sum for Partners.

  • Private healthcare

    The firm will provide employees with a private healthcare policy effective from the 1st of the month after joining. You may also enrol your partner and/or dependants at your own cost.

  • Employee assistance programme

    Confidential help and advice for many different aspects including counselling, information about financial issues, personal, and legal issues.

  • Contributory pension scheme

    All Employees will be auto-enrolled into the firm’s pension scheme from the 1st day of the third month of employment. You will contribute 3.5% of your basic salary and the firm will contribute an additional 5%. After successful completion of your probationary period you may opt to increase your contributions.

  • Discounts on legal work

    Dependent on your length of service, you may access a discount on fees for personal legal work (e.g. moving house, Wills etc).

  • Employee discount platform

    Employees are provided with an account for an employee discount platform which allows you to tap into savings and discounts on things such as retail, food and drink, entertainment and shopping.

  • Season ticket loans

    Interest free season ticket loans are available for train, bus and car parking.

  • Cycle to work scheme

    The scheme provides a loan for a bicycle and/or equipment paid back over 12 months through salary sacrifice, thereby saving tax and national insurance.
