John Brindley has over 30 years’ experience as a chartered town planner, specialising in the residential sector and with experience of the sport and leisure sectors.
John provides planning advice for consortiums on large mixed use strategic sites. His work includes submitting large complex planning applications and project managing the planning application process through to decision. He also provides site appraisals, site promotion through the local/neighbourhood plan process, Appeal strategies and preparing Appeal Statements, direct instruction of Counsel, Proof of Evidence and expert witness at Appeal Hearings and Inquiries.

Retained as the consortium’s planning consultant on the Sherford New Community in Devon, mixed used scheme containing 5500 new homes, new schools, playing pitches a community park and business park.
RESERVED MATTERS APPLICATION
Acting for a national house builder on the submission and managing of a Reserved Matters application for 500 new homes in Bedfordshire.
PLANNING APPLICATION
Acting for a regional developer on the submission of a full planning application for 300 homes along with new public open space, retail unit and public car park.
