The deal sees Mikki, previously owned by Interpet Ltd, join Pets Choice’s growing portfolio of brands including Webbox, Bob Martin, Felight, TastyBone, Vet’s Kitchen, and Hownd.
With a 40-year legacy in the pet industry, Mikki is recognised for its premium products and loyal customer base. Pets Choice aims to leverage the acquisition to strengthen its position in the premium segment of the pet care market, expanding its reach across grocery, independent retail, e-commerce, and veterinary sectors.
The corporate team at DMH Stallard advised Interpet throughout the transaction.
Mark Diamond, Corporate Partner at DMH Stallard, said:
“We were delighted to support Interpet on this strategic move. The Mikki brand’s reputation and heritage are well established, and Pets Choice is perfectly positioned to take it to the next level.”
Pets Choice has been steadily expanding its footprint through acquisitions, with Mikki representing another step in its strategy to offer high-quality, premium products to a broad customer base.
Kay Miles, Corporate Senior Associate at DMH Stallard, said:
“Pets Choice’s vision for expansion aligns perfectly with the Mikki brand, enhancing their presence in the sector and securing the brand into the future. It was a pleasure to work with the Interpet team again, bringing together the various legal aspects to ensure another successful deal for all parties and the Mikki brand.”
The DMH Stallard team included Mark Diamond and Kay Miles (Corporate), Debbie Venn and Jay Barnett (Commercial), and Nitzan Cohen (Tax).
