DMH Stallard advises Templant Hire Limited on sale to Camfaud Group

DMH Stallard advises the shareholders of Templant Hire Limited on its sale to Camfaud Group, the UK’s largest concrete pumping business and part of US‑listed Concrete Pumping Holdings.

The transaction marks a major milestone for the long‑established temporary power provider as it joins a global group with significant investment capacity and ambitious plans for UK expansion.

Founded more than 30 years ago, Templant supplies temporary power solutions to construction, defence and events clients across the UK. The company runs a premium fleet of more than 250 generators alongside distribution boards, cabling, fuel tanks, battery storage systems and load banks.

Emma Boorman, Corporate Partner at DMH Stallard, led the team. She said:

“Templant Hire is a highly respected specialist in the temporary power sector, and it has been a privilege to support the Allen family on this transformative transaction.

“The acquisition by the Camfaud Group creates a powerful platform for growth, enabling Templant to expand its depot network, invest in new technology and continue delivering the exceptional service it is known for.

“We are delighted to have helped the shareholders navigate a complex, multi‑layered deal and achieve a successful outcome.”

In the addition to providing an opportunity for the founding shareholders to realise value, it also enabled the next generation of the Allen family to take on new roles within a larger corporate group.

Chris Allen, Managing Director of Templant Hire, said:

“This marks an exciting new chapter for Templant Hire. Joining Camfaud Group  us provides the scale, investment and national footprint to support larger projects while maintaining the high standards customers rely on.

“Emma and the DMH Stallard team guided us through every stage of the process with clarity, professionalism and genuine commitment, we couldn’t have asked for better advice.”
