Known as an effective litigator, handling complex disputes in both high and mid net worth cases, Mark seeks to bring a warm and human touch to a process which some people can find difficult. It is his aim for his clients to feel supported throughout.
In addition to matrimonial law, Mark frequently advises on Inheritance Act claims and will disputes. He has successfully negotiated many pre-nuptial agreements and has a keen interest in wealth preservation.
Mark can also advise and assist if you are not married but need support resolving your financial situation following the breakdown in your co-habitation.
Mark works primarily in our Horsham office but also collaborates closely with colleagues in our other locations.
Work highlights
ULTRA HIGH NET WORTH DIVORCE
GA v EL [2023] EWFC 187 and GA v EL (No. 2) [2023] EWFC 206. The case concerned a single issue; how to divide the proceeds of sale of a business that was started during the marriage but sold after separation. The case considered the importance/relevance of historic business valuations and the courts approach to post separation endeavour.
