EMPLOYMENT

Employment Club, Brighton 9 July 2026

Our Employment team would like to invite you to our new Employment Club which takes the format of a roundtable discussion lead by our expert team in our Brighton office, designed to keep you ahead of the curve on all things Employment.

The Team will provide updates to employers on recent changes in employment law and refreshers on good practice, as well as facilitating an opportunity for attendees to discuss their own challenges, experiences, and expertise.

In our second session, our team will be discussing the changes to sexual harassment legislation and the introduction of third party harassment legislation under the Employment Rights Act including:

  • How the new duty in relation to sexual harassment differs from the old duty in practice
  • What is third party harassment – which third parties does it cover?
  • How are Tribunals likely to approach this?
  • What steps are employers taking and what steps should they be taking now to comply with the new duties?
  • How the inclusion of sexual harassment within the protection of the whistleblowing legislation will affect employers
  • The impact of the new legislation on the use of NDA’s and settlement agreements in the context of complaints of harassment

Employment Club is free to attend, and tea, coffee, and breakfast pastries will be provided. (*Please note: these sessions are aimed at employers and/or HR professionals*)
