Michelle’s extensive experience enables her to expertly advise on all aspects of commercial property transactions. She acts for a range of clients from owner-managed businesses to SMEs and international companies and tailors her advice to the commercial needs of her client.

She acts for landlords and tenants on both straightforward and more complex lease transactions and buyers and sellers on acquisitions and disposals. Michelle also advises development clients on land transactions.

Michelle works primarily in our Guildford office but also collaborates closely with colleagues in our other locations.

Michelle has acted in transactions regarding public houses and office, retail and industrial properties which are located in Guildford and the surrounding areas or elsewhere in England.

She regularly provides property support for corporate transactions.

Michelle qualified as a Solicitor at a London firm in 2009.

FREEHOLD ACQUISITION

Acting for a property investor on the freehold acquisition of a multi-let industrial park for the sum of £7.15m. The transaction had to exchange and complete within a short period of time due to the seller’s requirements. Michelle still acts for the client regarding the ongoing management of the estate


GRANT OF LEASE

Acting for an international client on a lease of a 59,000 sq. foot industrial unit with an annual rent exceeding £400,000. The timely grant of the lease was integral to the logistical needs of the company


TERMS OF LEASE

Negotiating and agreeing the terms of a lease of a flagship retail store in London. Michelle also negotiated the Licence to Alter documenting both the Cat A and Cat B fit out works undertaken by the client
