Lee is able to advise on all aspects of planning and environmental law including listed buildings, footpaths and highways and compulsory purchase.

Lee qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has specialised in Town and Country Planning ever since, initially working within a local authority before moving into private practice in 2007.

He has assisted developers to secure planning permission for a broad range of projects both large and small, including major housing developments.  Lee has a particular specialism in complex section 106 agreements.  He has represented clients at planning and enforcement appeals and has conducted numerous legal challenges in the High Court.

Lee also assists clients faced with criminal prosecutions for offences under planning and environmental legislation.

Lee works primarily in our Gatwick office but also collaborates closely with colleagues in our other locations.

Acting for a regional house builder regrading a section 106 agreement for a 200 unit development requiring on site affordable housing and multiple financial contributions.


FOOTPATH DIVERSION

Acting for a land owner in the high court and court of appeal resisting the diversion of a footpath onto their land through a definitive map modification order.


PLANNING ENFORCEMENT

Acting for the defendant in criminal proceedings prosecuted for a failure to comply with a planning enforcement notice.


S106 AGREEMENT

Acting for a local authority on a section 106 agreement seeking to secure affordable housing, infrastructure and financial contributions.
