Emma combines strong legal knowledge and good understanding of business operation having worked as an Investment Director for a mid-market PE firm.
Having started her career working in a private equity focused team, Emma moved in house to a mid-market PE firm broadening her skills to include business evaluation, performance monitoring, representation at board level and involvement in contract negotiation, redundancy programmes, acquisitions and refinancings.
A subsequent role as Senior Counsel at a leading large global private equity manager saw Emma overseeing multi-jurisdictional transactions for the funds.
After a career break to have a family, Emma has recently been advising family owned businesses and management teams in their transition to becoming shareholders and directors of investment backed vehicles whilst protecting their rights and value.
“ I have worked closely with Emma over the past three years. She has been instrumental in helping our company navigate a major investment round and subsequent IPO.
Emma brings an exceptional level of skill, attention to detail and intensity that not only provided a high degree of confidence during negotiations, but a firm representation of our interest throughout each of the transactions.
From a personal perspective, Emma is incredibly patient and is willing to take the time to provide clarity and understanding during times of high pressure and complexity. Her friendly and engaging demeanour, should not, however, be confused with her being a pushover, as some of our counterparts have had the discomfort of discovering.
I could not recommend Emma more highly.”

Emma works primarily in our London office but also collaborates closely with colleagues in our other locations.
