With the ending of Covid restrictions in England many employees will be experiencing another period of change in returning to their pre pandemic working arrangements, but change can bring about anxiety and has the potential to exacerbate existing mental health conditions.
Dealing with ill health and disability is never easy for employers, but how employers handle difficult issues such as this, provides an opportunity to demonstrate to employees whether they are with the “right” employer, and should factor into staff retention and engagement strategies.
We focus on:
- How employers should deal with employees who are experiencing poor mental health
- How to approach the issues that “Long Covid” employees will face in their employment
- A round-up of good practice arrangements that employers should put in place -Fair treatment and how employer action, in sickness and in health, can improve retention and engagement metrics
