Malky Chaloner qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), a Taxation Technician (ATT) and is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Malky gives expert guidance on tax and estate planning including charitable giving and the creation and running of charitable trusts.

Malky has experience in a range from situations involving agricultural estates, cross-border gifting and assets to assisting entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals. As a member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (previously SFE), Malky prides herself of her friendly and considerate manner when dealing with clients’ individual needs, as well as when facing distressing situations. When preparing Wills and LPAs or administering estates regardless of their complexity, she is committed to client service and helping every step of the way. Malky also specialises in Charity Law and advises clients on the registration of new charities, CIOs and restructuring charitable trusts.

Malky is a member of the Charity Law Association and successfully completed the Level 4 Certificate in Charity Law and Governance from the Chartered Governance Institute. She is also individually ranked in the High Net Worth guide of Chambers and Partners for her expertise in Private Wealth Law.

Malky is very approachable and practical in her advice and is happy to attend home or hospital visits if the circumstances require it. She works primarily in our London and Guildford office but also collaborates closely with colleagues in the South Coast offices where she lives.
