U.K. spring of 1996.Helen was extraordinarily supportive of me during this process as I was managing the sale of my father’s flat with its complicated new Leasehold agreement from Canada while simultaneously settling my failing father into a Care Home here. Helen helped me do a lot of the paperwork in advance while I was in the U.K. and then gave me a lot of extra support as the real estate and legal terminology and related paperwork were very different than how things work in Canada.
