DMH Stallard welcomes real estate partner to city team

DMH Stallard has bolstered its real estate practice with a partner hire in the firm’s Brighton office.  Katie Raymond joins from bespoke property firm Hennings and brings over 18 years of experience in non-contentious residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Since qualifying as a solicitor in March 2006, Katie has garnered extensive experience across various types of real estate transactions. Her portfolio includes commercial landlord and tenant matters, lease renewals, deeds of surrender, assignments, sales, purchases, remortgages, and refinances.

Her diverse client group includes property developers, retailers, salons, pension funds, accountants, PR agencies, advertisers, gyms, nurseries, and restaurants. In addition to her commercial work, Katie has acted on hundreds of sales, purchases, and remortgages for residential clients, ranging from first-time buyers to buy-to-let investors with extensive portfolios.

Tina George, Head of Real Estate at DMH Stallard, said:

“Katie’s wealth of experience and dedication align perfectly with the firm’s commitment to providing outstanding legal advice and achieving the best possible outcomes for every client.  Her expertise across the spectrum of real estate transactions will be invaluable as we continue our growth and support our clients’ diverse needs.”

DMH Stallard’s recruitment team has hit the ground running in 2025 with three senior appointments already confirmed. Katie follows David Bailey a new dispute resolution partner and Roger Cohen who becomes a consultant after previously being Senior Counsel at global real estate firm BCLP.

Katie said:

“It’s very exciting for me to be part of DMH Stallard’s continued growth in Sussex, Surrey and London.

“I’m looking forward to putting my experience to good use and helping the firm to increase its client base across the south east real estate sector.”
