Our international legal services range from providing specialist legal advice to UK businesses with an international footprint or global ambitions, working with overseas firms with UK expansion plans and working with non-domicile or international families co-ordinating legal advice for our clients across multiple jurisdictions.
Our independence means you will receive a service that is tailor made to your requirements. We provide:
- International and cross border legal advice for UK clients – where we co-ordinate the legal advice required for our clients or provide details of trusted law firms who have the expertise in their chosen jurisdiction(s).
- UK legal advice for international firms who are looking to build their UK offering, we can provide expertise in real estate, corporate and commercial law, employment and immigration law and should you need it litigation and dispute resolution.
- Non domicile families and individuals – we can provide those with their main home outside of the UK with tax advice, inheritance tax planning, probate advice, divorce and much more. We have a team of immigration, tax and private client and family law specialists with the knowledge and experience to help you.

International legal advice
We provided employment/immigration, commercial, real estate, dispute resolution and intellectual property services to support expansion/consolidation into the UK market.
Company sale
We acted for the shareholders of a UK manufacturing and distribution company who sold their shares to a US giant. This included cross border guarantees and security provisions.
Overseas Asset protection
We defended our client against the misuse of their trademark and breaches of their franchise agreement overseas for who franchised a range of international casual and fine dining restaurant brands.
Damage mitigation for a global business
We advised and acted for a leading international retailer in defence of a substantial claim brought against them by a retail partner. We used mediation to reach a settlement and conclude this matter on excellent terms for our client.
Non – domicile tax mitigation
Advising clients with a domicile of choice abroad (and a domicile of origin in the UK) on the use of offshore trusts to hold their UK assets whilst they continue to be domiciled abroad.
Worker migration advice for major arts productions in the UK
Advised a leading production company in the UK in relation to the Creative Worker (temporary) work immigration route, facilitating the placement of internationally renowned performers and unit company members for its UK productions.
International divorce
DMH Stallard advised, led negotiations and achieved favourable financial settlement for our client. One party was based in the US and split his time between the UK and US each year. This cross-border matter necessitated input of experts in both UK and US.
