DMH Stallard support The Greenway Foundation at Christmas

20 Dec 2021

In the final run up to Christmas, we are pleased to support Crawley and Horsham based charity The Greenway Foundation with a donation of £1,000 to help with the delivery of food hampers and presents on Christmas Eve to families in need.

This is a charity set up by Greenway Residential, a local Crawley-based estate agency. It started out as a small initiative where Greenway donated Christmas hampers and presents to local families in the Crawley and Horsham area who were unable to afford a Christmas lunch and/or presents for their children. Over the last few years, it has grown to be a significant local initiative over the Christmas period whereby families living in poverty are identified by the local authority and schools. The Foundation coordinates the delivery of Christmas food hampers to those families, filled with everything they will need for their Christmas lunch. They also invite the children of those families to write letters to Santa and provide a Christmas present for each child up to a value of £25. The Foundation is now a registered charity and provides up to 1,000 such families with this support each Christmas (as well as further support for the children during the year with days out etc).

In addition to our donation, we will be offering our time on Christmas Eve to help deliver parcels to the families so that they can enjoy the luxuries of Christmas.
