Becky specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing, remortgaging, voluntary lease extensions, registering previously unregistered land and clients with residential portfolios.

Becky has considerable experience dealing with sales, purchases, new-build purchases, transfers of equity and shared ownership transactions as well as acting on behalf of developers in relation to their plot purchases and sales.

Additionally, Becky has experience in dealing with property transactions relating to the utilities industry and has previously acted for electrical distribution network operators and gas transporters (including major household names) in acquiring freehold and leasehold substation and IGT sites and easements for electric lines and gas mains throughout the country.

Becky qualified as a solicitor in 1996.

LEASEHOLD EXTENSIONS

Acting for 29 tenants who together owned the freehold of their blocks, via a freehold management company. Reviewed their historic leases, which required modernisation, and drafted bespoke new longer leases that did not conflict with the leases of those who were not members of the freehold management company.


PURCHASE OF DEVELOPMENT LAND

Acting for a small developer in their purchase of development land and the sale of the new builds once constructed.


Unregistered title deeds

Constructing a title from incomplete unregistered title deeds along with a statement of truth to the Land Registry in respect of the missing documents
