Family
Megan was a Paralegal assisting in Family Law, joining the firm in June 2021. As of September 2023, Megan commenced her training contract within the Family team.
Megan started her career in family law during completion of her LPC (LLM) Masters. She previously worked as a Family Law Paralegal assisting on complicated family law issues. During her studies, Megan volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau advising clients on a range of issues.
Work highlights
DIVORCE
Assisted a client through navigating her divorce and financial settlement. It was an extremely emotional time for her and Megan was able to get the work done needed to resolve her case.
SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
Agreeing and drafting a settlement agreement that was a very drawn out process but, continued to support the client throughout.
COURT PROCEEDINGS
Issued court proceedings and got a very good outcome for the client. Supported the client throughout the process and worked very closely with her and a friend to ensure the process was as smooth as possible.
DIVORCE
Assisted with a divorce for a client with lots of hurdles along the way. Megan made sure to constantly chase the court and do her best for the client.
FINANCES
Drafted and filed a consent order to conclude client’s finances.
